Not only is Damascus steel breathtaking to look at, it also retains an edge better than most steels and is more flexible so it won’t break from hard use.
Featured on the axe head are 2 spikes; one on the top and one on the poll.
2 large holes have been added to the head so this axe is incredibly lightweight.
The axe head is then force-welded onto the high carbon steel tang which is visibly sandwiched in between sturdy wood mounts made from wood.
Smoothed and contoured with the handle for an overall flush appearance that feels great in your hands.
The tang juts out at the end of the handle, creating a thick spike that can be used for hammering in tent stakes or other tasks around the campsite.
Included with your hatchet is a sheath hand tooled from genuine leather.
A belt loop as well as 2 snap closures on the sheath provide safe and secure carry when adventuring in the woods.
